Using Unheated
Terms of use
The service
Unheated provides tools for adults who want to record, reduce and stop using heated tobacco sticks. These terms describe use of the website and related app services. For the iPhone software licence, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a different licence is expressly shown in the App Store. These website terms do not replace mandatory consumer rights.
Eligibility and personal use
You must be at least 18 to use Unheated. Use it for your own records and only use an account you are authorized to access. Keep sign-in codes private. You remain responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for any files you export or share.
Health information and estimates
Unheated is not a medical device, a treatment service or an emergency service. Its plans, practices and educational articles do not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. The app does not diagnose, prescribe treatment or predict recovery. Seek appropriate professional help for withdrawal or health concerns.
Daily ceilings are planning limits, not recommended consumption. Savings are estimates based on user-entered data; they are not bank balances or guarantees. The website calculator assumes a fixed daily change and fixed price. App results depend on your records and confirmed days. No feature guarantees that you will quit or achieve a particular result.
Free features and optional subscriptions
The current core experience includes logging, a plan, craving support and data export. Optional Plus features and their availability are described in the app. Prices, currency, billing period, renewal terms and any trial eligibility are shown in Apple’s purchase flow before you agree to pay. No subscription price is promised by this prelaunch website.
If you buy an auto-renewing subscription, it renews under the terms shown at purchase unless cancelled through Apple. Manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or an Unheated account does not cancel billing. You can restore eligible purchases using the same Apple Account. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to its process and applicable consumer law.
Accounts, records and availability
An account is optional for core local use. Cloud features need connectivity and may be unavailable in some builds. Do not rely on the app as your only copy of a record you need to retain; use export. No service can guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every device issue can be recovered.
You may delete local data or your cloud account using the controls described on the support page. Data processing is described in the privacy policy. If service features materially change, we will provide relevant notice and respect applicable rights relating to paid access.
Acceptable use and ownership
Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, misuse another person’s data or use the service unlawfully. You retain rights in your own records. The Unheated brand, software and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Use and sharing of educational material must respect those rights.
IQOS, glo and other product names identify the intended category or explain compatibility. Their owners do not sponsor or endorse Unheated. Links to outside resources are provided for information; their operators control their own content and services.
Responsibility and consumer rights
You choose how to act on the information provided. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and app are supplied without a promise of a particular outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or any other mandatory protection. Your local consumer rights continue to apply.
